Hey, I love the haiku you are sharing, thank you!

As a part of me is creating art by following my intuition, another part of me is sitting back and watching with a smirk on her face. A fairly kind and gentle smirk. As the shapes in the painting above (or to the left, depending on your format) came together, I thought it looked like aliens watching TV.  I used this painting as a pattern for a large wall art quilt, which I’ll share with you another time. Meanwhile, my haiku this week:

Learning to dress my
Post-cancer body, new shape.
Quantum art project.

If you are new to my blog, see Healer Becomes Heal-ee for the first of my weekly posts sharing haiku related to breast cancer recovery. If you like, leave a comment or a haiku (on any topic).  Haiku is a 3-line poem, 5 syllables/7 syllables/5 syllables. And you are welcome to use the buttons below to share this post.

  1. LOL – love those aliens! Although I might have interpreted it as moons making their way through a square universe. 🙂 As always, enjoying your haiku Janet.
