In the last 2 posts, we looked at what interferes with our ability to ground our energy and what supports this ability. Check out the comment sections—you might find some ideas that are a good fit for you.

What is so important about being grounded? On a practical level, it prevents accidents. Being grounded means that you are IN your body, aware of where your body ends and the sharp corner of the counter starts (or IN your car, aware of where your bumper ends and the curb starts). And it means you are here to enjoy every beautiful smile, caress, birdsong, flower scent—every gift that goes along with being in a human body here on Earth.

We as human beings are evolving. The structure of our energy system is changing, which allows us to bring more aspects of our infinite Souls into our physical body. As we do this, we may be surprised at our new interests, new awarenesses, and a more-rapid-than-usual development of new abilities. So—more ease in our changing world—what’s not to like about that?

Many of you who read this blog have much wisdom in this area. Anything you would like to add about the importance of being grounded? And here’s what I’d REALLY love to know . . . what are your new interests and new expanding abilities? Do tell. 1. I had to laugh when I read the part about knowing where our car ends and the curb begins…that certainly explains a lot 🙂 It’s such a treat to see all the wonderful people you have in your community all so full of wisdom and your guidance is so valuable. Thank you.

  2. I think being grounded gives you a stableness that works when you run into situations that are less than stable. 😀

  3. When I’m not grounded I get on autopilot and I feel down in my energy level. I like being grounded. Things go more easily in my teaching and I have fun. Sunshine helps with that, too. When I’m grounded in my writing, it goes well and is great writing. Thanks for this post.
