At the end of the dock, Joy

In her healing cloak

And crown, feet giggly and wet.

Many of you are trying haiku and then posting them here or emailing them to me. A few of you haven’t tried it yet. I encourage you to write your own haiku (pronounced Hi-coo), which is 3 lines: 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables, about any topic of your choice. Do it for yourself—don’t feel obligated to share it with anyone.

For those of you newer to blogs, another way to see the other posts about haiku and my recovery journey is to click “Blog” on the far left of the 2nd line of this page. This gives you the most recent posts. Clicking on a title of a post will open it up for you to see the whole post.

  1. Healing like Haiku
    Integrates mind, body, spirit
    In unfolding joy

I think I am really beginning to enjoy haiku, Janet. Thanks for encouraging the endeavor. Much love, peace and blessings to you! ♥

  2. I love your haiku project Janet. And here’s my share:

    An invitation
each day to welcome more joy
    fill your heart and fly.

  3. I think this may be my favorite one yet. Okay, I’m going to join in:

    Seeing in the Light
The gifts God has brought each one
    Illuminates Love.

  4. I’ve never heard of Haiku. I will have to give it a try.
I think I’ll need to practice first. 🙂

  5. Here’s mine for you… a companion for Joy:

    Crow wings high above
    her call flashing like feathers
    scattering her light.

  6. These are all so beautiful, thank you, everyone!
