Sun-warmed – Spiritual Cookies

Paintbrushes

Paintbrushes

Today, I am again sharing some of the “spiritual cookies” in my life. This week, they include:

A living room full of beautiful women in a Soulful Living session. They were fine-tuning their intuition by learning to prepare their personal energy fields and by identifying how their bodies tell them “yes” and tell them “no.” I so appreciate the safe space for deep, meaningful, and joyful connection.

Observing a good friend sharing her stories with a roomful of quilters, telling about her personal journey and her art quilts. A visual and verbal feast. If you like, you can take a look at her work here.

And just yesterday, my friend and I sat at the sunny picnic table in the gloriously green backyard, playing with watercolor and gouache paintings. We had similar stories about putting down our paintbrushes when our children were babies.  How sweet to have picked them up again!

How about you–what were your spiritual cookies this week? And I’m curious, have you had any life events when you decided to “put down your paintbrush”? If so, did you pick it up again?

  1. I love your spiritual cookies:) I got goose bumps when I read the part about painting in the backyard. What a glorious way to spend an afternoon. I’ll have to do that this fall!!
