Janet, what a beautiful kaleidoscope of colours. Love the pieced quilting that you created. The colours and the shapes together somehow have a very nurturing feel to it. Congratulation on your Art Exhibit. I wish I loved closer. 🙂
Suzanne, I love your “slip of the toungue” re living/loving closer–your love reaches a long way, though I agree, it would nice to be in closer geographic proximity. 🙂
Congratulations, Janet! How fun to have your own show! It would be so fun to get over there and meet you in person. I will try and make it if I can!
Oh, it would be fun to meet you in person, Amy!
I love this! The word I thought of was kaleidoscope too and then I scrolled down to see it in Suzanne’s post as well LOL. I am so excited for you! Enjoy it – you’ve worked hard for it 🙂
Thanks, Michelle, interesting to have 2 kaleidoscope responses!
Wonderful art piece Janet, and congratulations on the exhibit! I’ve recently been looking at the color blue through the lens of the Japanese color system where it is associated in their 5-element system with the element of Wood. So it was especially delightful seeing your beautiful quilt in this color scheme.
How interesting about the Japanese color system, thank you, Deborah!
Three kaleidoscopes, Janet!
I’m in awe of anyone who quilts or sews for pleasure, a past time totally foreign to me.
Best of luck with your show.
