For those of you who live near Minneapolis-St. Paul, you are invited to Honoring the Inner Artist, a talk I am doing for Minnesota Contemporary Quilters on Monday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m. at the Textile Center. I will talk about my spiritual practices, healing, and artmaking, with LOTS of show and tell of my work. I believe the guest fee for coming to one meeting is $5. The Textile Center is at 3000 University Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414, with map and directions here. Haiku of the week regarding my experience recovering from breast cancer:

Best case scenario.

As always, I invite you to comment and/or to write your own haiku (3 lines: 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables) about the topic of your choice. See Healer Becomes Heal-ee for more description about my process of using this form of poetry to process my breast cancer recovery.
