Take a look at the photo on the left. Click on it to see a bigger version. Do you see any images in it? This is a detail shot of a hand-dyed pillowcase, which is now headed to my soon-to-be Etsy store.
I delight in the surprises inherent in hand dyeing fabric. I did not see anything specific in the pillowcase, but when I looked at the digital detail shot, I immediately saw the full body of a goddess—with an owl inside her chest! I think of her as the Goddess of Wisdom. Tell me, what did you see?
On a different note, I have a dream of doing healing work for at least one person in every state of the U.S. and in many countries. So far, I have facilitated healing work in 20 states in the U.S. and in 7 different countries. I’ve done this by working via phone or email, or by facilitating work while I was in another part of the world. Check out this page if you’d like to see if there is a good deal awaiting you or a friend.
As always, feel free to share this post using any of the buttons below.
P.S. I will let you know when I have Etsy figured out enough to activate my store. Have a good week!
A powerful goddess with feathered hands, energy radiating out from Her. Wonderful!
Love the pillowcase. What a great idea!
I also love your healing idea. What a wonderful project! So clear and concrete – something you can really grab onto! Do you have a little map where you are keeping track – coloring in each state as you complete it or anything? I would love to see a photo of that!
A winged beaked bird with outstretched wings open in a gigantic welcome.
Oh Janet what a powerful image! I see so many other things in there as well – it’s a veritable universe of magical wonders. Fabulous.
I love your healing intention. Like your goddess image with far-reaching energy.
I see an oncoming wave breaking in my face!
Oh wow! I saw the goddess image right away, but the owl came only after you mentioned it. What a magical pillowcase! Are you sure you can part with it?
All the best to you on your Etsy store. I’ll check it out when it’s open. 🙂
