Wow, I am surprised to see that it’s been almost 2 years since I shared any spiritual cookies with you in this blog. Basically, I am sharing delicious parts of my past week (or so) and inviting you to do the same. For tasty history on this, especially if you have are a fan of Clarissa Pinkola Estes, see my first blog post in June of 2012.
Lots of movement and gratitude for me lately:
Hair: my hair has grown so much since I finished chemo (last December) that I got my first haircut! For me, any hairstyle is better than none . . . I celebrate my bad hair days now. 🙂
Cars: a new ride is in the works, the old ride has sold successfully, and my cute sparkly blue rental is getting me around so well on my mini road trip.
Remembering: oh, such fun to walk the farm land of my childhood with my aunt (she grew up on this same land) and my cousin.
Connecting: it has been very moving to reconnect with one of my brothers.
Isn’t it interesting that we can be moved both physically and emotionally?
How about you–what are your most recent spiritual cookies? Please share.
Your art is fabulous and so is your sharing – love those spiritual cookies!
I’m so happy to read your post Janet and see all the spiritual cookies you shared with us. Yay for the haircut and bad hair days. 🙂
A few of my spiritual cookies for this past week, I wrote a blog post after 2.5 months. The other is having re-arranged and re-organized my Meditation/Reiki/writing room as well as setting up a creative space in another room.
PS Absolutely love your quilting art also. xo
Hmmm, I think my own reconnection to self at a recent gathering. We did God/dess eyes which took me back to my childhood days but carried me forward into how the making of even simple art can open you up.
