Success! With the help of another blogger and with the help of my great photographer, I was able to add another gallery to my website. You may have seen my gallery of fiber art—now you can see a gallery of my paintings.
When I paint, I first align my energy with a particular quality. And then I forget about the quality and follow my internal guidance about materials and types of mark-making. When a painting is finished, then I have a chance to view it with my left brain, trying to see why or how these particular choices and images might relate to the initial quality. It’s just another experiment in living my life by my intuition.
So I invite you to view my new gallery. Maybe you want to look at the thumbnails and choose to view the image(s) that draw(s) your attention. If you like, open your heart to receiving healing benefit from the image(s). You might feel a shifting in your body, an improvement in your ability to focus, or a releasing or infusion of energy. It is my intention that my art is infused with healing energy, and that viewers have access to this energy.
If you do the above experiment, I’d love to hear about your choices and your experiences. Feel free to comment below, or to email me privately. As always, thank you for stopping by!
I shared this on my Facebook page. Nice work, Janet!
Thank you, Amy, for sharing this and for stopping by!
Janet I absolutely love the galleries on your website. The fiber art gallery especially drew me in and it felt almost like I became part of every stitch and colour. I love your creative and healing talent and gifts Janet. Your paintings were also very lovely.
Suzanne, It’s really interesting for me to hear what draws people in, fiber art or painting. Thank you for stopping by, generous spirit!
Looks awesome, Janet! I love seeing all those colors shown next to each other on the screen.
Thanks, Naomi!
I love your new gallery and all your work. Your connection to your creativity/intuition is inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
Michele, Thank you for stopping by . . .
Grace is a compelling painting. Congrats on your new gallery attached to your blog. I love your description of how you create. It is the same for my writing. My right side does the creative output of words and my left side fixes typos, sequence errors, and on and on.
Sheila, Grace! Thank you for sharing which image got your attention. And here’s a toast to our brains, both sides!
How wonderful to see your new gallery and view your paintings!
I absolutely believe we are meant to connect to energy; to flow and express it through the filter that is our vessel here. And it sounds like that’s exactly what you do with your creative work (and no doubt other aspects of your life).
I’m particularly drawn to “Here Comes the Light” – it’s very powerful.
Deborah, “Here Comes the Light” really popped for me, too, as I put together this gallery and discovered the name of this “odd” little painting. Thank you, kindred soul!
